Hayward Pump, Filter, Salt Chlorinator and Gas Heater

Here is a photo of all our pool equipment on a 4' x 8' concrete pad. The Pool Builder and Gas fitter recommended we locate the equipment as close to the gas meter as possible to reduce costs of running gas lines all over the yard. I had to move a few boxwood shrubs and all the electrical needed to be at least 1 meter away from the gas metre, but it worked out nicely. The following is a list of all the pool equipment. (from left to right in the photo)

1. Hayward Pro Series Sand Filter Model # S-244T2 (300 lbs)
2. Hayward Super II Pump Model # SP3007X10A
3. Hayward Turbo Cell T-Cell-15 for pools up to 40,000 gallons
4. Hayward H Series Natural Gas Heater Model # H250 FDN
5. Haywrard Goldline Aquarite Salt Chlorine Generator AQR-CUL (white box mounted above)

  6. Yes- I can get the temperature to climb about 3-4 degrees in an hour. The best part is that hot water comes out of the jets while the heater is running so it feels like a spa... sort of. I haven't got the 1st gas bill yet though - so I'll add that information when it arrives.

  7. Cleaniness Keep your oven clean! When you spill something, wipe it or get the debris up as soon as possible. you will get bad odors and smoke from your oven. We have even seen debris catch fire. If your oven has self clean, use it. A dirty oven can also be a health hazard and attract roaches. Nobody like those things.Gas Heater Repairs

  9. Pumping chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) at times may be difficult. Chlorine will naturally degas causing typical metering pumps to lose prime. This problem becomes even more of a pain in summer months when chlorine temperatures may rich higher temperatures. For this reason, the pump of choice is Stenner Pumps. Stenner Pump is an excellent Chlorine Pump since it is a peristaltic pump.
